WHAT IS CACI MICROCURRENT FACIAL?

Whilst CACI systems incorporate multiple technologies, at the heart of all the systems is the unique core microcurrent technology. What sets CACI’s microcurrent technology apart from other microcurrent machines is the use of ultra-low frequencies in combination with skin resistance technology and a patented digital waveform. This unique digital waveform optimises results and comfort by gradually increasing in intensity to overcome skin resistance. It then rises to a peak in order to deliver the full power of the microcurrent energy deep into the facial muscles. This means that CACI facials not only achieve better results but also longer lasting results.

HOW DOES CACI FACIAL TONING WORK?

Microcurrent therapy delivers tiny electrical impulses that mirror the body’s own natural bioelectrical field. Microcurrent stimulation helps to re-educate the muscles and can lift, firm and tone. Microcurrent in aesthetics is commonly described as “facial toning” or “non-surgical face lifting” due to the lifting effect that it has on facial muscles and contours.

WHAT DOES MICROCURRENT FEELS LIKE AND IS IT SAFE?

Microcurrent treatment is virtually sub-sensory with just a slight tingling sensation. Customers often describe it as an energised or warm sensation on the skin and is virtually painless. It is clinically proven to be safe for all skin types, including darker skins and even on the most sensitive of skin conditions.
Microcurrent therapy was originally developed as a medical application to treat facial palsy and restore muscle tone by applying tiny microcurrent impulses to the affected muscles. Today this proven technology is now available in thousands of aesthetic clinics worldwide as a painless cosmetic treatment, so yes, it is safe.
Please note: If you are taking any medication or have an existing medical condition or concern not listed in our consultation/consent form, please consult with your doctor first.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A CACI FACIAL SESSION?

A medical history will be taken to make sure that there are no reasons why you shouldn’t undertake this treatment. You will be asked to read detailed information and sign a consent form which means that you have understood the potential benefits and risks associated with the procedure.
Photographs will also be taken by the practitioner for a “before and after” comparison at a later date.
Skin preparation with the application of vitamin A or C creams and SPF50 will be recommended for up to 2-4 weeks prior to the commencement of the procedure. A similar skin care regime will also be recommended for up to 6 months post-treatment to aid the healthy production of the new collagen and the rejuvenation of the skin.
Treatment sessions will take between 30-75 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
Although a remarkable difference is seen after the first 3 treatments or so, the benefits are cumulative and typically a course of 10-15 treatments will be required for optimum results. After a course of CACI treatments you will see real improvements in how your skin looks and feels. Your facial contours will look lifted and toned with a fresher, more youthful appearance. A monthly top up treatment is then recommended to maintain results.

The specific number of sessions required will depend on the area being treated and the severity of the indication, as well as the level of natural response from the individual’s body.

CACI FACIAL TONING (60min)
This treatment is a non-invasive facial, using microcurrent impulses. This will lift and tone your facial muscles and the neck area, whilst improving skin elasticity and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Firms your face and gives your skin a more youthful, fresh appearance and glow.

CACI + JOWL LIFT (75MIN)
Target muscle laxity around the jawline. This treatment will lift and firm your muscles and redefine facial contours to give a firmer, more toned appearance. Ideal for women wanting to improve the appearance of sagging jowls and for men who desire a more chiselled jawline.

CACI JOWL LIFT (30MIN)
Specifically developed to target muscle laxity around jawline.

CACI EYE LIFT (45min)
Lift and firm muscles around your eye area, particularly where you may tend to lose definition as you age and develop “hooded eye lids”. This treatment uses serum filled microcurrent rollers to reduce puffiness and dark circles, and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER CACI FACIAL?

No, there is no downtime. CACI treatments are non-invasive and gentle on the skin so there is no interruption to your lifestyle. You can just carry on with your normal daily activities.

WHAT ARE THE RISKS OR SIDE EFFECTS OF CACI FACIALS?

The treatment does not harm the body so there are no side effects or downtime associated with the use of microcurrent facial treatments, as there is no risk of irritation.
If you stop having CACI facials, the results will gradually diminish and your facial muscles may eventually return to how they were before treatments commenced. It’s just like going to the gym for a body workout, but as microcurrent doesn’t harm the skin, there is no limit on the amount of treatments you can have.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOR CACI FACIAL TONING?

It is very important that you follow the advice of our practitioners carefully after any treatment to help make the procedure as successful as possible and to reduce any risk of complications.
In preparation for your CACI facial treatment, all makeup and skin care products including sunscreen should be removed to allow absorption of beneficial microcurrent into the skin. Please attend your appointment without any make-up if possible. For optimum results, exfoliation prior to treatment helps to remove dead skin cells that can be found on the skin. It is necessary to remove contact lenses during the CACI facial treatment.
Post – treatment advice will include:
• using tepid water to cleanse the face for the first 24 hours following treatment;
• ensuring that hands are always clean when touching the area treated;
• not applying conventional make-up products to the skin for the first 12 hours following treatment, some mineral based make-up products are able to be applied as recommended by our practitioner;
• applying the prescribed skincare products given to you by our practitioner according to the regime specifically designed for you;
• applying a broad spectrum sunscreen product with a high SPF, ideally 50, immediately after treatment before leaving the clinic and when going outside following treatment.

AM I SUITABLE FOR CACI FACIALS?
