PIGMENTATION/SUN DAMAGE

People often refer to hyperpigmentation as pigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is the darkening of the skin, most often caused by an abnormally high amount of skin pigment melanin. Melanin is the pigment that gives the body its natural skin colour. This can occur anywhere on the body but mainly occurs on the face.
All skin types can suffer from this harmless condition. Individuals who have greater exposure to the sun are more likely to get pigment spots, but other factors include: genetics, hormonal changes, medical conditions and trauma to the skin (such as burns or as a result of spots and picking).
We have a range of treatments that can help improve the tone and texture of the skin, alongside your personalised skincare regime, to give your skin a more even-looking tone so that you can be confident that your skin is looking as beautiful as it can. Treatments include: HydraFacial™, Dermalux LED Phototherapy, and Medical Skin Peels.
