The product used for this treatment is a dermo injectable, resorbable filler containing a non cross linked hyaluronic acid and a bio-revitalization solution modulating synthesis of melanin.
Skin Whitening Treatment can be the solution for melasma. Melasma is a skin condition that causes brown spots to appear on the face and, though it’s not dangerous, it can be very distressing and can seriously affect self confidence. It is most common in women between the ages of 20 and 40 and usually affects the cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead and upper lip. The neck and the forearms can also be affected. It is most often caused by the hormonal changes or fluctuations that occur during pregnancy, though it can happen at any time.
These hormones mean that dark patches are more likely to develop when your skin is exposed to sunlight. Ultra violet light and even strong light from light bulbs can also stimulate this dark pigmentation, and it is more prevalent in dark-skinned races, particularly Hispanic, Asian, Indian and people from the Middle East and Northern Africa. Only 10% of melasma sufferers are men.
It is dangerous?
Melasma usually becomes more noticeable in the summer and improves during the winter months. It is not an infection therefore it is not contagious and it is not due to an allergy. It is not cancerous and will not develop into skin cancer.
How does it work?
The product used for this treatment is a dermo injectable, resorbable filler containing a non cross linked hyaluronic acid and a bio-revitalization solution modulating synthesis of melanin. Is therefore a product specially formulated as a resorbable dermal implant for sun damaged, photo-aged skins, since the filling effect of hyaluronic acid is assisted by the whitening modulating effect.
We recommend an initial series of 4-6 treatments spaced 1-2 weeks apart to achieve the best results. After that, one treatment every 3 months is recommended. Effects are cumulative and the improvement is progressive.
